The Before and After School program at Barrett Elementary provides students with homework assistance, enrichment activities, mentorship, and physical activity. In addition, students in the After School program are provided snack and dinner daily. The After School program at Barrett is open to students attending Barrett Elementary, as well as students attending Propel Homestead. We welcome students aged 5-12 beginning in kindergarten.
The Before School program at Barrett Elementary begins at 6:00 AM and ends at 8:00 AM when students report to their classrooms. Breakfast is provided to Barrett students at 7:30 AM in the cafeteria.
Propel students attending the Before School program will be transported to Propel Homestead at 8:00 AM.
The Before School program has a flat rate of $25 per week charged weekly.
Families may choose to contact CCIS for funding assistance.
The After School program at Barrett Elementary begins at dismissal (2:50 PM) and ends at 6:00 PM. Parents will be charged a late fee of $15-$60, depending on the time of departure, if children are picked up after 6:00 PM.
Propel students attending the After School program will be picked up from Propel Homestead by staff at dismissal time (3:25 PM).
Students will receive snack upon arrival at the program and dinner will be served daily at 5:00 PM.
Families are encouraged to apply for CCIS for funding assistance, but private tuition is also available based on household monthly income.
CCIS families must be funded full time if student will be attending both before and after school.
